How to Get a Prescription?
Customers across the UK have often complained that they have difficulty getting a Ureaplasma or indeed any prescription when they get a positive test result. They often visit a doctor or NHS SH centre, which leads to a waste of many hours and travel costs and or paying private Doctors’ fees.
Medicines Online is the first UK Diagnostic Laboratory to bundle a Prescription Referral Service with its Product solutions. A positive result report is within seconds sent to the dashboard of our referral GP when you purchase this option.
Bundle at the time of Purchase: Price £30
The steps:
- Select the bundle at the time of the order. The £30 price is a special bundle price due to efficient simple AI transmission.
- You can also select this £30 Bundle at the checkout.
- Complete your purchase, and if you get a positive result go to your dashboard and fill out the pop-up Referral Questionnaire from the Doctor.
- If your result is positive, a Referral is automatically transferred to the Doctor for processing via the Doctors Login Dashboard. If the doctor has any questions, you will be contacted by email or telephone. If approved, your Online Digital prescription will be automatically emailed the same or next day, and you can take it to your nearest Pharmacy.
Total time: Up to 1 day from positive result to email your Digital Prescription.
When choosing the bundle, regardless of your result, you choose the special price ‘In case of receiving a positive result’. A regular prescription is twice the price. The bundle option is an offer as a pack. This value is not refundable. It’s a good choice if you’re quite sure you have an infection. If you feel you dont have anything but you just want to get a test to be sure, then maybe this is not for you. And anyway you have the £60 option later if you want it.
And the Non-Bundle Price option of £60
You can wait until you get your positive test result and then visit our Online Prescription Page and pay for your Referral Consultation at the regular rate of £60.
The steps:
- Purchase the Referral Prescription product for £60 on the website.
- Provide your order number that you had a positive result so we can track it and Upload your result pdf.
- Complete the purchase and fill out the pop-up Referral Questionnaire from the Doctor.
- For positive Ureaplasma results, your Referral is automatically transferred to the Doctor for processing. You will be contacted by email or telephone if the Doctor has any questions. If approved, your Online Digital prescription will be automatically emailed within 1 day of you completing the questionnaire, and you can take it to your nearest Pharmacy.
Total time: Up to 1 day for processing Digital Online Prescription.
Prescription does not apply for HPV, HIV and Syphilis products.

Accuracy
The accuracy of any of our diagnostic tests is defined as the combination of sensitivity and specificity variables. Sensitivity is the test’s ability to confirm positive results; specificity eliminates negative results. All our tests are validated with high accuracy (up to 98.5%).
Variables
Accuracy can be affected by various factors that our lab cannot control. Infection intensity, patient health, and sample quality, dependent on adherence to “home testing” procedures, can all limit the test results. Although our tests are extremely sensitive, a poor-quality swab makes it harder to detect the presence of infection, as fewer viral particles will be present. Please carefully consider the information sheet accompanying your sample collection kit to ensure a high-quality sample.
Detection
The Ureaplasma PCR detection test can accurately detect the presence of the Ureaplasma urealyticum bacteria. The test uses a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) amplifying method to detect the pathogen.
Positive result
A positive result suggests the presence of viral particles in the sample during testing; upon receiving positive results, you should contact your healthcare provider for treatment. You can also gain a prescription through our website. It is possible the Ureaplasma urealyticum bacteria do not present symptoms of the disease, but you may still be infectious to others.
Negative result
While this can provide reassurance, it is important to understand its significance. This means the test did not detect the presence of infection at the time of testing. Results should still be discussed with a healthcare provider while considering lifestyle and sexual history. If you are in contact with someone who tests positive for the disease or begins to present symptoms consistent with the disease, you should contact your GP.

Testimonials Story from Lisa
Good morning; my name is Lisa. I am a 31-year-old woman after a very stressful period of imbalance in the intestinal flora (I suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome and recently suffered from Candida). I started having strong, intimate burning after eating at an Indian restaurant.
In the following days, thinking about transient cystitis, I looked at my eating habits, and it seemed to have gone away; out of scruple, I went to a gynaecological check-up and performed all the possible swabs for infections.
The Cervical Checkup after my exam
The cervical swab showed Ureaplasma urealyticum load 10,000 (with susceptibility test attached); the gynaecologist gave me the following treatment: miraculin 100 twice a day for 14 days + 14 days break + 7 days of miracles + crisp sachets to be taken during the break and after the 7 days.
Honestly, I feel intimate discomfort such as losses of all kinds, high burning pain, and pain during intercourse, but I have read testimonies regarding the fact that antibiotics in certain situations do not solve anything at all and make them worse; some believe that antibiotic treatment is not recommended, but rather an improvement in lifestyle is necessary.
Well, I didn’t know what to do. I would like to have faith in the therapy I was given, but it’s more than a month of antibiotics in the middle of summer, and what’s more, I fear that Candida will return as I’ve already suffered from it.
Also, I asked if the therapy I was given was adequate.
Thank you for your kind availability.
Another Story from Francesca
Hello everyone! I’m Francesco, I’m 24 years old, and I’m new to the Forum. I have read several stories and healings this week, even with few male experiences. However, I hope you can show me the right path to healing from this torment that has been accompanying me for about 4 years.
It all started about 4 years ago; I had been with my ex-girlfriend for about 6 months when I began to experience the first symptoms of prostatitis. Initially, I didn’t think about the symptoms completely; I thought they were temporary. Still, the symptoms that slowly got worse were decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, the need to urinate many times a day, pain in the prostate area and intestinal disorders. So, after the situation worsened and after it became unsustainable, I decided to go for a visit to the 1st andrologist urologist. After various examinations and Ureaplasma tests, what came out was acute inflammation of the prostate caused by a bacterium for which I tested positive as it belongs to the Mycoplasma family.
The therapy I was prescribed was Ciproxin for 10 days, if I remember correctly, laminate for 15 days, Serenoa repens for 3 months and a behavioural diet where only the lightest foods were allowed. The antibiotic didn’t work immediately because I tested positive again, and when I returned to the andrologist, he prescribed Bassado for another 10 days. And subsequently tested negative.
But deep inside, I still thought the inflammation would return. And it was like this: after about 4 months, the inflammation returned. I went to the same andrologist again and asked why it had returned. Should I perhaps continue maintenance therapy? And he replied to me verbatim: you don’t get the flu?? Needless to say, what would I have done to him? However, after that visit and having politely extracted more money from me, I left and decided not to return.
I changed the andrologist (the 2nd) and went there since they had spoken well to me about it… and he prescribed me Bactrim once a day for 3 months and hot cups 2 times a day… at the beginning, the situation seemed to improve. Still, in reality, I didn’t have a complete recovery, and after 3 months of antibiotics, in the fourth month, imagine what happened to me.
The symptoms had worsened compared to the beginning of the therapy. I was taken by despair and also destroyed on a psychological level. I changed andrologist again or the 3rd and last. After I had told my whole story, I called the 2nd andrologist crazy.. after the Ureaplasma tests, including the spectrogram, which highlighted a decrease in sperm motility and therefore highlighted that the infection was still present, he prescribed me Cibotrex for 2 months, 3 times a week, Leviaprost and a therapy that consisted of emitting radio waves towards the prostate.
The situation improved as usual in the first period and worsened when I stopped therapy, later convinced that andrologists are a race that only wants to extract money from you and destroy your body by bombarding you with antibiotics; today, I treat myself!!! And I confirm that I have never obtained such satisfactory results since I have had this inflammation.
Another Story from June
Good morning everyone
I just wanted to add my testimony.
At the beginning of June, I did a vaginal swab for prevention but, above all, because I am planning a pregnancy.
Although I didn’t have any symptoms or strange discharge, I was diagnosed with a 100,000 charge.
Very sad, I asked for help, as always, from you on the Forum and Dr. Pesce. No antibiotics.
I first took some Lactonorm; then I got my period. As soon as they were finished, I started two cycles of the Miriam protocol, a break and 3 days of Lactonorm before menstruation. Once my period was over, I waited 4 days to do the Ureasplasma Test swab again, and it had disappeared.
I just wanted to tell you that restoring our flora naturally is the best help we can give ourselves without having to immediately resort to antibiotics, which very often (and we know this given the name of this fabulous Forum, what it does in case of cystitis) make us worse and destroy all the good there is. Sometimes patience and taking more time to heal ourselves (in all cases of life, in my opinion) are the best weapons over haste and no longer knowing how to wait…
I hope to be useful to anyone who needs it.
